How Fun Builds Your Business

As entrepreneurs and business owners, we sometimes forget to take the time to play, have fun and enjoy the life we’ve created for ourselves.
Since most of us travel for our business, one great way to easily add in some fun time is to take a day, or more, to have some fun in the city you’re traveling to.
I remember doing this on a trip to Connecticut several years ago for a one-on-one coaching/consulting day. I took the train from Connecticut into New York City and spent the entire day sightseeing, eating food from the roadside stands and seeing the sites.
One of those sites was the massive three-story Toys ‘R Us store in the Times Square area. Talk about some amazing marketing lessons… WOW! Talk about a way to let the kid in you come out! Playing with all the toys and just having fun.
It was a fun and relaxing time and something I need to do more of – you probably do too.
It’s amazing all the business and marketing ideas you can come up with when you free your mind from the everyday stress and responsibility and just let yourself be free.
Lessons are everywhere. Sometimes they’re apparent at the time and sometimes it takes a free mind to see them.
