Business Systems: Implementation And Execution Are Key Components To Productivity

One of the greatest driving forces of business is your ability to implement and execute actions in a speedy and efficient way. Being able to move your business forward relies on creating systems, plans and blueprints, and then putting them into action. And not just any action, but massive action…massive, focused, directed action.

This may sound like a lot of work, but it encompasses one of the concepts that’s extremely important to your business, and that’s leverage.

Leveraging your business means using automation. It also means hiring the right people and then developing their skills and talents so the key components of your business and its systems get done effectively and efficiently.

Having leverage in your business allows you to focus on the things you need to get done with a greater sense of urgency. More than likely, those things are the plans, the blueprints, the products and services, and the vision to move your business forward.

Focus is extremely important.

A lot of times we’re convinced we have to be multitasking. We have to be petting the dog, answering the phone, our email has to be open, we have to be on Facebook or Twitter, we think we have to be doing twelve things at once, all the time.

The reality is you have to be focusing, and if you’re doing all of these things, you’re simply not focusing on the task at hand. After all, there is no such thing as multitasking – you can really only focus on one thing at a time.
A great tool to build upon your ability to focus is to give yourself the time you need to accomplish what needs to be done, by you, after you’ve leveraged with your team and systems, and set whatever you can on autopilot.

Use a timer if you need to, to set aside the time needed to hone in on what you’re supposed to be doing. If you’re supposed to be writing copy, set your timer and write that copy for that time. Don’t answer the phone, don’t be checking email, don’t do anything but what you have set that time aside to do – just focus. Set aside the things that are bothering you and really attack those ideas and concepts that need to be implemented, that need execution.

Remember, the universe loves speed, which means the faster you get things done, the more things you get done, and the more stuff comes to you. The process is truly amazing, but you must leverage and focus in order to put it in motion.
