How Talking About What You Believe Will Attract Your Ideal Clients

One of the easiest ways to attract ideal clients and prospects is a really simple thing that will make you stand out to people who would be interested in doing business with you.

It’s talking about what you believe.

While that might sound strange, it’s something every person in business should be thinking about.

  • What do you believe about your business?
  • What do you believe about life in general?
  • Why do you get out of bed every morning, and do what you do?

This doesn’t necessarily mean talking about your big why either.  Instead, it’s about expressing what you believe your business can do for others and how you operate it to show that to the world.

Have you heard the statistic that 95% of all small business owners never make it to the six-figure income level in their business?  That means only 5% of all small business owners make more than $100,000 a year in their businesses.

Do you believe that statistic has to remain as fact?  If you do, you may very well be limiting yourself.

As a business owner, at some point, you believed you have the drive to make a great life for yourself.  Well, hopefully that belief is still there, because owning a successful business absolutely is about your drive – at least partially.

Your level of education, your gender, your sexual orientation, your race, etc., doesn’t matter.  It’s not an indication of the level of success you can or will achieve.  As long as you believe, you have the desire and are willing to do what it takes to reach that level of success in your business, you can do it.

Here’s the key.  Whatever you believe… about our business, about your goals and your dreams, share those beliefs.  Share your why, because what happens is others who believe what you believe will flock to you.  They’ll feel inspired to share with you their same passion.  And that’s what it’s all about.  It’s about connecting with people who have similar beliefs, because those are the people who want to do business with you.  People do business with people who believe what they believe. It sounds simple, and it’s true.

So whatever you do, whether you go to live events and speak from the platform, or you use email marketing, or social media, or direct mail, it doesn’t matter what media you use, talk about what you believe in in your business to let your prospects, and clients, know how you feel and how your business is a fit for them.

When you do this, things get easier because people will be drawn to you.  They will feel a connection with you because you share the same beliefs.

It doesn’t have to be so hard to build your business, to market your business and to live life in general.  You can make things easy for yourself simply by talking about the things you believe in and attracting the people who believe the same things.

So share your thoughts and ideas about your business.  Let the people on your list know exactly who you are and what you’re about.
