Perspective… What’s Yours?

There’s always a lot going on in the world it seems… and it’s always interesting what we choose to focus on.
The Oscars were Sunday… the Men’s and Women’s March Madness brackets were finalized… and then there was the whole Silicon Valley Bank collapse… until the US government stepped in.
Were you focused on any of these? Or something else?
Our businesses reflect the world. There’s always a lot going on there too.
What do you choose to focus on?
And what perspective do you choose to take?
Just like the picture, depending on how you look at things, from what angle… it might look different.
Some people will see the black and white tile, others the sun and shade spots, others the opening at the end, and so on. You get the idea.
It’s the same thing in your business (and your life). Sometimes you just need to change the angle you’re looking at the situation from. Get a different perspective.
Sometimes, that literally means to change your focus or the angle you’re looking from. Other times, it means you need fresh eyes – somebody else’s perspective (be careful with this one – make sure you ask the right person). And sometimes, you need to take a break and look at something else for a while.
