Pivot vs Shift

We talked a lot about shifting and pivoting during Covid… for obvious reasons.
And I’m still hearing a lot about shifting and/or pivoting in private conversations with business owners and entrepreneurs. Especially those who have been in business for 10, 15, 20 years or more.
It seems like there’s a phenomenon that happens when you reach a certain level (or age) that makes us reflect and look at what we’re doing, how we’re doing it, what’s important and so on when we reach certain points or milestones.
That’s happening a lot right now, but not many people are talking about it publicly.
Until now…
My friend and business associate, Sue Painter, and I are hosting a discussion today (Thursday – 4/11/24 at 2pm ET) about this very thing. It will be a small, intimate gathering where we’ll present some things and have time for questions-and-answers and discussion.
There’s nothing to buy. We’re not going to try to sell you anything. This is just a safe place to talk about these changes and how they’re affecting you and to give you some tips and things that have worked for us as we’ve worked through these challenges.

There’s a difference between shifting and pivoting.
Pivoting is staying relatively close to where you are now and just doing things differently or veering off just a little bit.
Shifting might mean that you take a completely different road than you’ve been on. Or it might also mean that you just veer off to the right or left slightly at the fork in the road.
One isn’t better than the other – they’re just different.
And, you might find that you want to do both – or neither.
If you’re feeling like you need a bit of a change after so many years in your current business and you’re not sure how, or why, or when… join us today and let’s see if we can help get you moving in a new direction – Your Way!!!
