What is Marketing?

There are so many terms today for marketing. The terms you hear being used aren’t really different kinds of marketing – they’re really more like different kinds of media.
For example…email marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, and internet marketing all really just describe different media that the marketing is used in. Content marketing is really just an overall term used for any kind of marketing that has valuable information (which should really be all marketing anyway). Content marketing not a new form of marketing, you’ve always used good content in your emails and your marketing, right?
The real answer is as long as you’re using Direct Response Marketing, that’s what matters.
And, what about the newest buzz word…Authentic Marketing! Aren’t you always you? Aren’t you always the best you possible? Don’t you always want people to know more about you and what’s important to you? If you answered yes to those questions, then don’t sweat it…you’re being authentic!
Marketing isn’t some bad thing or even some mysterious thing…it’s simply everything you’re already doing. Marketing is how you answer the phone, how you present yourself, your logo, your colors, how you dress, and everything else you do in your business.
For most business owners, you just need a little tweak, a little adjustment, or an addition of one thing…or maybe you need to eliminate some things in your business.
Marketing, and really looking at your business in a way that you can’t because you’re in the middle of it (and you can’t see the forest for the trees when it comes to your business) is what we’ll be doing at “The Implementation Event™.”
And, this is the first time I have announced this, but this is going to be the LAST time I do this event…that’s right, I’m retiring this event and I’m not doing them any more after this. So, if you’ve been thinking about coming to this event but have been putting it off, for whatever reason, now is the time. Mark off February 11-12, 2016, and do whatever it takes to get to Atlanta, for the LAST ever “The Implementation Event™.”
